Tinelle Evans Reno
I have been playing role playing games for over 15 years and practicing therapy for over 10 years. I've worked in substance abuse rehabs, outpatient mental health care, and I currently work at a private psychiatric group. In all my experience of facilitating group therapy, I love being a Dungeon Master the best. Participating in role playing games has helped me to become more patient, to explore my personality, and to fulfill my own need to connect to other humans. I have seen players increase their skills in managing emotions such as frustration and irritation.
I started my career working with the transgender population, and have learned so much from the community. Since then, I have learned more about the LGBTQIA community and have supported the community through activism and keeping myself updated on the news. I have had the great opportunity in facilitating some role playing games with the transgender population and saw the therapeutic benefits. I'm looking forward to facilitating a therapeutic journey with you. All are welcomed, including those who aren't a part of the LGBTQIA community.
